1. General Refund Policy & Eligibility

Our policy is designed to be fair, balancing the custom, labor-intensive nature of our spiritual services with fairness to our clients.

Standard Refund Window

✅ Full Refund:

A full refund is available for all services if the request is made within 24 hours of purchase and
The work has not yet started (for Naming/Rituals) or the materials have not been accessed (for Digital Courses/Products).

❌ No Refund:

After the initial 24-hour window has passed.
Once the service has begun (research, preparation, or chanting).
Once digital content has been accessed, downloaded, or viewed.

EU/UK Customer Cooling-Off Period (Strict Compliance)

For customers in the European Union (EU) and United Kingdom (UK) and EU-associated countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period under consumer protection laws.

Access Blocked: To comply with this law, access to all digital materials and the start of any service work will be blocked for 14 days from the date of purchase.
Waiving the Period: If you wish to receive immediate access to your service or digital product, you must explicitly waive your right to the 14-day cooling-off period. This can be done by:

Checking the consent box at checkout (if available).
Sending a separate email to support@thegeniushub.ca immediately after purchase, explicitly stating you wish to waive your right to the 14-day cooling-off period and receive immediate access.

No Refund After Waiver: Once you waive the cooling-off period and access the content or the service work begins, the purchase is considered final, and no refund is possible.

Eligibility for the EU/UK Cooling-Off Period: The 14-day cooling-off period applies only to purchasers who provide a billing address within the European Union (EU) and United Kingdom (UK) and EU-associated countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) at the time of purchase. No purchaser with a billing address outside the EU or UK European Union (EU) and EU-associated countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) is entitled to the cooling-off period, regardless of the delivery location or the purchaser’s personal residence.

Cooling-Off Period – International Customers

The 14-day EU/UK cooling-off period applies only to purchasers with a billing address in the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), or EU-associated countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein).

For customers with billing addresses outside these regions, no statutory right of withdrawal applies, and any cancellation or refund policy is determined solely by our standard service terms.

2. Service-Specific Policies

Personalized Chinese Naming Service

This is a custom, research-driven process.

Refund Trigger: The service begins when our team starts analyzing your birth data, life intent, or preparing name candidates.
Revisions: One free revision is included if a proposed name doesn’t resonate. If you require additional rounds of refinement, the fee is $100 for Personal/Baby Naming, $200 for Project Naming, and $400 for Business Naming, per revision round.

Pure Land Buddhist Rituals

This applies to all rituals (49-Day, Pet Memorials, Karmic Liberation, etc.).

Refund Trigger: The service begins when we start any preparation, including scheduling, entering names/dates into the dedication list, or the practitioner begins chanting.
Rescheduling: Rescheduling is possible with at least 48 hours’ notice before the confirmed start date.

Digital Courses and Products

This applies to all instantly downloadable products and online courses (Wisdom Cultivation System, E-books, etc.).

Refund Trigger: The purchase is final once you log into the course platform, open any lesson or module, or download the digital file.

Reason for refund or change
Confirmation that work has not started / content has not been accessed.

We reply within 2 business days (Mon–Fri, 10 AM – 6 PM PST).

❓ Q1: Can I cancel my Chinese Naming order after I submit birth details?

👉 Yes, if you are within the 24-hour window and analysis has not begun. After analysis begins, refunds are not available, but one free revision is included.

❓ Q2: What if I entered the wrong birth time or date for my Naming Service?

👉 Please email support@thegeniushub.ca immediately with the correct details.

Before Analysis: If we have not yet started the BaZi and Five Elements analysis, we will update your file at no charge.
After Analysis Begins: A correction due to wrong information will consume your one (1) free revision. Subsequent revisions will incur a fee.

Additional Revisions: If you require further refinement rounds after the free revision is used, a fee will apply per revision: Personal/Baby Naming ($100), Project Naming ($200), and Business Naming ($400).

❓ Q3: How soon do Pure Land Rituals begin after ordering?

👉 Rituals are typically scheduled to begin within 2 to 3 days of your order, depending on the type of ritual and the current queue. We will confirm the exact start date with you via email. For urgent services, such as the 49-Day After-Death Ritual, please contact us immediately after ordering so we can prioritize the preparation and scheduling.

❓ Q4: Can I reschedule a 49-Day After-Death Ritual?

👉 Yes, rescheduling is possible, but we require at least 48 hours’ notice before the confirmed start date. Please contact us as soon as possible. If the ritual has already begun, rescheduling is not possible, and the service will continue as planned.

❓ Q5: Do you offer store credit instead of refunds?

👉We can process a direct refund to your original payment method or, if you prefer, issue a store credit of equal value to be used toward any future service.

❓ Q6: What is the refund policy for the Wisdom Cultivation System and the Eight Sufferings Liberation?

👉These are digital course programs. The purchase is final once you log into the course platform, open any lesson or module, or download the digital file. A full refund is available only if the request is made within 24 hours and the course content has not been accessed.
